A place for locals

I wrote a review about a year ago and things have changed a bit still this bar is worth visiting. I am now a "regular" and can normally be found there on the weekends... and some of the weekdays nights too.
For some the best kind of bar is the type where you show up when the sun is still out and the game is on, this is that bar from open till around 9-10pm. For others the best kind of bar is the type where they can go watch live music or a great DJ this is also that bar after 9-10pm.
"The Vu" as it goes by now, with it's large projected banner outside on the wall facing the street, mixes it up when it comes to music Monday nights are great for anyone who likes classic to classic rockabilly from Hank Williams to Carl Perkins and so on I'm not the expert (Will the bartender on Mondays is) on this music but I do enjoy it. And it only gets better on the weekends with lines up from local talent to up and coming DJ's from Cal Arts.
The price of a drink is still amazingly low and the crowd to top notch. If you get hungry There is a mexican food place around the corner with good tacos for about a buck.
- Pros: Cheap drinks, Fraiendly people, Stiff Drinks, close to food, and the best bar in the area (Santa Clarita)
- Cons: In Santa Clarita, parking, empty or packed normally

Only Place to be in S.C.V. for 80's music

If you live in SCV and you're looking for a fun place to be locally this is the place to be on Thursday nights. Live music (pray the m-80's are playing) good looking crowd, Small dance floor but fill with people who really want to dance. Stiff drinks for a good price (5-6ish for 16oz.). I love this place.
- Pros: only place to dance 80's in SCV(Thursdays), large smoking patio/outside seating, filled to the max with young people!
- Cons: sometimes too crouded, cover charge (sometimes), Located in Santa Clarita ;p

I don't know when these other people have been there but I have gone a few times and it has been empty. The times when there has been people there the bartenders have not been the prettiest. I don't know when these other people have gone.
