view & uploadgood italian food, great service, good restaurants, good atmosphere, wonderful italian restaurant, really nice setting, delectable dessert
Love the atmosphere AND the food..
This is a great spot for both of us. We went more when we lived closer, but we still travel to Northridge now to visit. The food prices are perhaps a touch pricey, but the upscale italian bisrto atmosphere more than makes up for it. It reminds me of the places on "restaurant row' on Beverly. Lots of great wine, inside or outside eating, fabulous food. I am a fan on the champagne shrimp- my husband adores the veal parm. Appetizers are tasty, and if you still have need or inclination to indulge, they have some great tortes, custards and pasteries for dessert.
Service for us has always been fine if not outstanding. Sometimes when it is packed on the weekend, you may have to wait longer for the check- reservations will get you in quicker, too.
This is definitely worth checking out.
Nothing amazing. very empty enviorment. Food flavorless and not superior to other italian restaurants nearby. Price was ok but i would assume it to be less for the quality of the food. The decor was gorgeous though. Unfortunately i would not dine there again.
Alessio THE Italian Hospitality. I love Italian food; I went to Italy just to get the taste of real Italian. I consider myself so lucky to find Alessio in S.California. I went to Thousand Oaks with my future wife three months ago in our first date and Im glad I picked Alessio. Nice wine collection, greatly pleasing and entertaining atmosphere with extremely pleasing to the sense of taste. Combination of professional management, who knows the Italian hospitality, hard work, top notch quality makes Alessio one of the bests.
Better than most!. I can only give this place top marks because it lacks competition in the area. If this place was in a trendier area surrounded by good restaurants it would probably get a solid recommend from me but not a highly recommend. The lack of anything other than chain restaurants in the north end of the San Fernando Valley causes me to bestow high praise on this joint. The food was very good... all the dishes you would expect from an Italian joint plus some nice specials. I got the chicken parmigiana and my wife got chicken in brandy cream sauce, which turned out to be excellent. The dessert tray did look good, with lot's of choice, and I settled on the hazlenut and chocolate cannoli. Again, very good. Also, the service was excellent... friendly, not too fast bringing out the food, constant bussing of the table.
Food. The food is excellent. Very nicely presented and delicious. Very good desert menu.
A Delightful Change. If you are looking for a delightful change from the ordinary, then this is the place. A very nice, quaint restaurant with good food, good service at a good price. Don't wait 40 minutes for a table at the Olive Garden, come to Alessio.
finally some class in Northridge. wonderful Italian restaurant. good atmosphere, great bruschetta and delectable desserts.
