Company failed to come see job in advance or provide an estimate. Crew arrived late both days. Packing job was sloppy, with boxes labeled undecipherably. Charged me for things that were never discussed, including double time while the truck was on the road, and a fuel surcharge. Brought a truck that was too small, requiring me to wait hours for another truck to arrive, which of course they charged me for. To add insult to injury, scratched my floors in the process. Interesting that my experience is almost identical to that of a previous commenter here.

What kind of a management sends out one 24 ft bobtail for a 5 bedroom house moving over 100 miles away? We had twice the capacity to move. Im not even a professional mover and I can see that a truck like that is not good for more than a 2 bedroom! They bagged us by quoting a cheap, below market rate and then delayed us a day waiting for their second truck to arrive and then he holds our shipment ransom until we pay $500 more for the job??? They wouldnt even send out an estimator to actually see the site and I made it clear what we had. The math on the gas for a second truck is somewhere like $90.00. Take some responsibility for your inept, inexperienced system. You should seriously do business like a professional and look at what you are getting into before commiting and changing the story after you have already begun the job.
