barely recommend particular store, just plain gross fitting rooms, love bargain, great variety, good customer service, great shoes, good ross
Deep-discounting chain offers in-season clothing and quality housewares..
Bargain hunters are treated to rows of clothing racks, some devoted to well-known designers like DKNY and Polo Ralph Lauren, while others are a mix of brand-name and generic labels. Merchandise is marked 20 to 60 percent below department and specialty store prices. Men's, women's and children's apparel are organized by type, such as shirts, pants and shoes. Home furnishings range from cookware and bedding to framed art and vases.
You Have To Love A Bargain To Shop Here.
Ross is a bargain lover's paradise, but you have to mentally prepare yourself to shop here. The store is woefully understaffed and there's not a lot of good customer service. I barely recommend this particular store anymore.
On a recent trip with one cash register open, I counted five employees huddled near the front of the store (including the manager) chuckling and chatting away. The one improvement they've made is having one line for checking out so you just go to the next available register.
The fitting rooms are just plain gross. I think they use "stinky feet" scented air freshener and half of the doors are broken.
That said, I still check this place out a few times a year when I'm in the neighborhood and I hardly ever walk away empty-handed. I've found consistently found great shoes and home decor items. And for the holidays, you'd be hard pressed not to come out with some great-but-inexpensive gifts.
