Mountasia Family Fun Center

Full of rude ignorant uneducated people. Bad experience.

We just returned from Mountasia, very dissapointed. We went to the go-carts first, and my 10 year old son had his own cart, with my 9 year old and myself in the second cart. After the laps, we were signaled to stop with a clear stop sign and the red light. I stopped, but a few seconds later a huge shaved-head cholo guy bumped into me from behind so hard my head whiplashed violently. The staff came running to my cart, since they saw how hard I was bumped. They brought me ice water and a bag of ice to put on my neck. I didn't want to make a fuss, but it was incredible that there could be such a rude, uneducated, rule-breaker in this place. He didn't even appologize. He was with a little boy, I feel sorry for the poor manners this animal is teaching his kid. The security guard said they gave the guy a "warning"; too bad I couldn't practice my tae kwon do on the guy's bald head!

We then tried a round of mini golf. I teach my boys to do everything in life with enthusiasm and by the rules. So we kept score, and went hole by hole, like the game is supposed to be played. We were alone, up until the 12th hole, when a father and son caught up to us and waited politely. But then by the 16th hole a family came up all of a sudden. They could not have possibly been acutally playihg each hole properly. The mother allowed her little girl to just walk into our hole and stand there with a blank look. I told the little girl that it was not her turn, but got no direction from her rude mother. We had to forego finishing our game because these ignorant people invaded our space and game. No concept of personal space and politeness, and turn-taking whatsoever. We then saw the woman walking out, so she wasn't even interested in playing!

For our family, this place was just too full of rude, ignorant, low life people. We can't enjoy such an envionment,.... not if we have to follow the rules: No cussing, no cracking a golf club on the head. Too bad for that.

Family Fun Nirvana

Judging by the number of kids' parties held here, this place is THE place in the SCV for family fun. My husband and I go here to use the batting cages and to play arcade games. We've played mini golf here as well.

It is always packed and my friends who have kids say it's a good safe place for kids. They've sure got the formula down right: lots of stuff to do, see, and eat.

FUn place with friends

This is a fun place to go with friends and just act like a little kid and play video games and play miniture golf and ride little go karts. They have other things to do also but these are what I have done Ihighly recommend and a great place to take your family if you have one.Safe area.
