Very cute, retro motel just up from Le Chene French restaurant on Sierra Highway. Don't expect modernized amenities - almost everything is original, including the tile showers. But even the basic rooms have microwaves, small refrigerators and back doors that lead out to the hills behind. Rates are inexpensive ($225 to $300 a week) and there are separate bungalows as well at $250 per week that have FULL kitchens with cabinetry and appliances. I live just down the road, and recommend it highly to visitors to the area who would like a safe place to stay that will take them straight back to historic Santa Clarita on Route 6. There are local small farm vegetable stands nearby, several locally-owned and operated tiny markets and a wonderful breakfast/lunch diner called 'The Halfway House'. Just a bit further up Sierra, operating vineyards line both sides of Route 6. Absolutely charming. The new managers are very sweet, friendly and helpful.

ROOMS ARE REFURBISHED SERVICE IS ACCOMODATING
FAMILY ORIENTATED SERVICE
I RECCOMEND GIVING THIS MOTEL A TRY DESPITE PREVIOUS REVIEWS

If you like Noise Its for you.. Sierra Pelona motel Sierra Highway, Agua Dulce, Was at Motel first part of March. Is not clean, Bad attitude, management looked like guests where just going behind the ck- in desk. Garbage in the rooms and it smelled bad. uncomfortable but who could sleep. Most rooms look like the guest moved in and have lived there for years. Not kept up a very run-down motel with trash everywhere, I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. (THERE IS A NICE PLACE TO EAT DOWN THE ROAD!)
