Crumbling club. The Mayan is one of the premiere late night club destinations though I really don't understand why. It's large but the whole place seems like it's falling apart. The crowds are far too into themselves. Service staff never make eye contact. The sound system and lighting are good however, I'll give it that. But the long drive downtown is too much trouble.

Latin music and dancing all night long!. The Mayan is a great salsa and latin dance club in downtown LA. The music keeps you dancing all night long while the drinks are moderately priced and made just right. There are tons of people all there to have a good time. The main dance floor is huge while the other floors are quite smaller. There are plenty of places to sit and for you smokers, the outside area is quite large.

Best Club in LOS ANGELES. THE Best music, best drinks and biggest dance floor. fridays get a bit crowded, but you can't beat it.

Extravagant!!!. Everything you want in a latin club it's there. It's Huge, Multifloored with muliple rooms and the crowd is sufficient. Diverse music from Latin, Spanish Rock and some hip-hop and old skool. Service is Average. Evrybody likes this club you can't complain

Not So Great. I went to this club 2 years ago since I love dancing and the music was ok, the crowd..not so great or the neighborhood. The club inside is beautiful, crowd needs to look in the mirror before showing up like that. Best advice go with a good crowd, not the best club in LA for latin music. Oh yeah its ghetto....sorry!

The best club to Party in LA!. I have been to this club many times. I love the surround sound system and lighting. The best club to dance salsa and the best club to gather with friends to have a good time and they have the best looking woman if you are a single guy.

Beautiful woman every where and plenty of them to dance with. Of course, you need to know how to dance. That is why this club offer salsa clases before the club opens.
