great simple food, pretentious restaurants, tasty meal, fresh healthy salads, attentive service, friendly owners, pretentious corporate clones
Don't Come Here--It's ALL OURS!. I've been going here for 20 years. This little gem is your classic neighborhood "greasy spoon" except that it's anything but greasy. I'm a sommelier. I know pretentious restaurants and corporate clones. This aint it. Good?no, GREAT, simple food, attentive service, HOME MADE HASH-OMG!!! And, the same two friendly owners who actually are there and even sit down with regulars when they are not scrambling to stay on top of service. Who knew guys like this still owned restaurants! Come here and you'll think you?re at your Aunt Fannie's. BTW: a secret Valley celeb hangout.
Good things come in small packages at this cozy eatery that, despite its size, keeps customers returning and yearning for their bevy of breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes..
In Short
As a favorite early meal destination for Valley dwellers, this spot caters to a crowd of caffeine-jonesing, pancake-craving people in need of sustenance. A hefty menu of breakfast staples and healthy, fresh salads, sandwiches and burgers for the afternoon crew keep it buzzing throughout the day. The crowds are a constant, but the service is fast and attentive, making the wait until the payoff tolerable.
Popular Valley Establishment delivers Friendly Service and Fresh Food. Whether you go for an early breakfast, a light brunch or a late lunch- this place is usually packed with locals who cannot get enough of the place and its classic plates. Eggs, Pancakes, Waffles- you name it- they got what you want for breakfast, and even when the cafe is crowded you do not have to wait long for your tasty meal. They offer fresh, healthy salads and sandwhiches for the brunchin' and lunchin' crowds and you can mix and mingle with your group while you watch the constant action the behind the counter. The Little Cafe is lovely and quaint- it feels like home as soon as you step in.
Tie. I love this place and Roscoe's. Two different spots but very very good food at both places. I also enjoy VIP's in Tarzana.
