Good people good tunes. Good times good tunes. Nice people. It's general a good crowd.
Great dive. This is one of the better dives in the valley. Friendly people and great tunes. If you come in during the week they have a ping pong table set out. Always have fun when I go.
Meh, a certain kind of crowd.
I've probably been here a half dozen times, usually Thursday or Friday nights, and it seems pretty consistent. It's definitely a 'dive' bar, and oriented towards providing drinks cheap as opposed to some of the other places nearby that can get quite pricey.
I'm not sure where the people above went, but this place is definitely not trendy. The late night crowd is dresses much better than the after work crowd. I definitely come here to avoid the "trendy" crowd.
People there are significantly more friendly than your typical hollywood type (who would kill themselves before coming here), and the girls are more of the hoochie mama type.
One thing to note, which causes me to despise this place is that people routinely smoke in here. It's quite nasty, and the owners/bouncers/whoever don't do anything about it.
Editorial Review by Kim Cooper. Neighborhood sports bar with six TVs, pool tables, dancing to live DJs Thursday to Saturday and free BBQ on Sunday for drinking patrons.
MMmm... Divey Goodness!. Yes, it is a dive. BUT, it is a GOOD dive. If you come early in the afternoon it is very chill with a lot of friendly local flavor. At night it actually goes off! They have done much upgrading over the years and it has grown in size quite a bit, but still has all the small grungy taste that you crave. I wouldn't call it hip, but it is a great place to meet friends for drinks and a good time.
Valley Secret Spot.
Well wonders never cease. Not only is this one of the better crowds the SFV has to offer but it's also within two miles of home. Looks, feels, sounds like a dive but miraculously attracts a good looking, friendly crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. Closest to a west side or Santa Monica spot without:
1) The attitude
2) The drive
3) The overpriced drinks
4) The dress code (just no gang-facsimiles allowed - hats, t-shirt, not sure about tennis shoes)
5) The high cover ($5 only on weekend nights)
Best Lil Dive Bar. I love this place. The staff are great, patrons decent. I haven't experienced the dance scene, but I hear they really have a great DJ. This bar has it all-pool table, darts, TV's, dancing!
cool lil bar. Best dive bar in town. for a little known place great place to meet new girls, weekends have a dj and dancin. drinks arent expensive i would rather be there than yankee doodles anyday.
