What People Are Saying About T.G.I. Friday's

In Short – The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.
Editor's Tips
- What to Drink:
- With 18-ounce glasses, you might only order one. Friday's is known for its comprehensive drink menu, so try something a little unusual, like the June Bug--made from Midori, coconut rum, banana liqueur and pineapple juice.
- The Extras:
- Gift cards can be purchased in denominations ranging from $10 to $100.
The most annoying Karaoke guy we've ever seen!
by StevieG411 at Citysearch
My g/f and I came in for dinner and Karaoke last week. We had a decent meal and settled in for a night of rockin' karaoke. The guy running the show was arrogent and rude to us, and made us feel like we were were not welcomed at all. We've been to quite a few Karaoke shows in and about LA and we've never had such a negative experience. I hope the people that run TGI Fridays find out how bad this guy is going to be for business.
