Editorial Review for Warner Center Marriott Woodland Hills – by Gayot.com
The Scene
Expect mainly a corporate clientele at this immense Valley lodging, where the emphasis is on business and convention facilities rather than sophistication and style. If you're coming to L.A. for a holiday, you may want to stay elsewhere, unless you particularly enjoy being surrounded by large groups of people dressed in business attire and wearing name tags.
The Details
Spacious guest rooms are business friendly and designed around comfort. The building focuses on its vast meeting facilities, although it does manage to offer a few extras, such as an indoor-outdoor swimming pool. The location, as well, is fairly unremarkable. In fact, the property's most telling asset is its ability to serve groups of up to 600 people with ease.

Just returned from a 34night stay. Hotel was nice but the rooms were very small. Only 2 double beds for 4 people which I find surprising in nicer hotels today .But the beds were comfortable which was a nice surprise. Furnishings were a little dated but clean and in good condition. Pool was warm and excercise area was nice with good equipment. There is a Starbucks onsite and the onsited Hertz rental car was great for renting a car for a day or two to explore the area. Room service was prompt and cost reasonable. Desk clerks were a little snooty and not terribly friendly or helpful. Location was easy to find and there is a small mall across the street with several very nice restaurants, a movie theater, and a Macy's. Easy to walk to with the family for dinner and shopping. A Denny's is down the street for a good breakfast if you don't want to pay a fortune at the hotel. Overall not happy. This review is the subjective opinion of a Trip
Pros: 2 swimming pool and one is heated. mall and movie theather across
Cons: for the price the room is too small, service is not good, front desk is rude and need to be trained.

The hotel itself is OK...safe, gaudy like most american hotels but the staff needs so much retraining. The front desk at best is rude and the bell staff are incompetent unless they of course know you will tip them. There is a great HILTON down the street that is 180% better than this hotel...Try it. Avoid the marriott if you can.
