Horrible service and microwave food. This place was a disaster from the second we walked in. They were selling knock off sun glasses at the counter. The restaurant manager would not accept our coupon which we purchased online. he said that it is no longer valid because his menu had changed, 15 minutes later when he came back with the old menu and higher prices we reluctantly ordered some food. three item special, and 2 chicken plates. no more than 4 minutes after we ordered the food was ready fresh out of the microwave with ice cold vegies! The boba ice tea was horrible with hard boba instead of soft which means they are either old or bad. service was also a mess because they would not accept any of their wrong doings. will never ever go back even if the food was free. Oh and the chefs were having a great time playing with their new cell phones so I really can't blame them for serving microwave food because how else will they have time to input all their contacts into the new phone?

Nice. I don't know who they're trying to fool with the first review, it was clearly posted by the owner, but this place is pretty good, nevertheless.

Friendly? Not really. I walked in and the first thing shouted at me was FO HEYA O TA GOH! I said "for here." I sat, ordered, and 5 minutes later I got a steaming oval plate (about 10" wide, 6" long). TASTY! I'm not Asian, but he brought me chop sticks and a fork, I like how he didn't assume I'd only want a fork. So I dug into the Chow Fun with my chop sticks and enjoyed the large, greesy dish. The waiter wasn't rude, just consise. I appreciate that though. He had a lot of customers and that's the best way to get to everyone. Anyway, overall, a great experience. Good food, calm atmosphere, and I was happy with my service.

Best of everything - quality, price, service. From the moment you step into the Golden State Wok you are always greeted warmly, made to feel at

home like you are a family member stopping by for lunch or dinner. Your friendly host then personally

oversees preparation of your order back in the kitchen to be sure it is perfect. Favorites in our house are the BBQ Pork Fried Rice (sometimes we also get it with Pineapple added), Cashew Chicken (the most flavorful I know of), Five-Flavor Sizzling Rice Soup, and good old Chicken Chow Mein (served here as Lo Mein with soft noodles). Other great items include their Sweet & Sour Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. You can order to take out too. Give the Golden State Wok a try - you'll enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and feel right at home. Maybe they'll even have a good baseball game playing on the TV...
