Huge store, tons selections and friendly stuff. There is even scuba diving lessons provided. Pricy but in high quality.

This chain (which began as a small ski shop in 1959 and has grown to more than 30 locations throughout California and Nevada) boasts a selection of equipment for everything from rollerblading and running to racquetball and football. Test-drive the latest golf clubs or break into a sweat on one of the home gyms. The ski--and now snowboard--equipment is still available, in addition to the odd fly-fishing or cricket accessory.
