When I bought my new Toyota at Keyes in
Van Nuys, I never thought that the paint job would only last for 4 years. The paint is peeling off of the top of my 2008 Toyota Yaris.
When I called up Keyes in Van Nuys, I was told that a service person would call me back. That didn’t happen, so I called Keyes again. I asked for the name and email address of the general manager. I was given the name “Glen Saber” along with a bad email address. A couple of days later, I called Keyes again, asking for Glen Saber’s email address. This time I was given a different email address that didn’t work.
Due to the fact that it is a 5 hour round trip from my house to Keyes in Van Nuys, I needed to talk to someone before driving down.
I then sent a letter by certified mail to Glen Saber, the general manager at Keyes. I also sent letters to Toyota in Los Angeles and Toyota in Japan..
I got quick responses from Toyota in Los Angeles and Toyota in Japan.
I got no response from Glen Saber. He failed to respond at all.
In conclusion, I, in good faith, bought a brand new Toyota from Keyes in Van Nuys.
The paint is coming off of the top of my 4 year old Toyota.
When I tried to contact Keyes Toyota about the defective factory paint job on my Toyota,
There was no good faith on the part of Keyes. Keyes sold me a sub-standard Toyota.
Keyes failed to take responsibility and repair the factory defect on my Toyota.
To add insult to injury, they failed to communicate with me by phone or by mail.
The customer service at Keyes in Van Nuys is unacceptable !
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A TOYOTA !!!
