Decent Irish pub. I like this place...it's cozy, has a definitely dive bar feel (but good clientele) and they have live music but at 6 bucks a pint I can't afford to drink here on a regular basis. They have a happy hour, but the beer is still 6 bucks a pint....WTF?? Also, sometimes their Guiness tastes a bit "off".....never a good thing for an Irish Bar! Maybe Colin Farrell needs to spend more time cleaning the lines?

The Smithwicks always tastes fresh though so I give them props for that.

Great Valley Secret. My friend's mother used to do Irish dance performances at this place when she was a kid; that's how long its been around! Comfortable atmosphere, incredibly friendly and experienced staff, and some great Irish beers and whiskeys. Live music almost every night, and incredible fish n chips round this place out for me. Crowded but not uncomfortable on Fri and Sat nights, and full of old Irish lads and 20's college students, this is an awesome, relaxed mixing of people and backgrounds. The only strange times were karaoke nights (check website for schedule), but they're not really for me anyway.

Irelands 32. I have been reading the other reviews about Irelands 32. I am quite frankly confused What did you order for $11.00 ? I feel they may have been confused with another place. The prices are reasonable. The music has something for everyone. Authenticity well they have that too. If you know what you looking for it can be found there.

fun atmosphere, great live music. the band that was playing the night we went was so authentically an irish folk band it isnt even funny. my irish roommate played me some of his folk music and it sounded exactly the same. drinking a pint, watching rugby and listening to them made for an inexpensive trip to ireland. we loved it!

Real drinks, Real people, try the fish & chips and Guiness on tap. This bar is as authentic an Irish pub as you are going to find in the Valley. This is an Irish owned, Irish run, Craic lovin' bar. Great prices, even better bartenders and good atmospere. Lots of locals, but welcoming to newcomers. Yes, some of the bands can be a bit dull, but others are fantastic and they all manage to get the regulars up and dancing. The food is good. You have to try the FISH and CHIPS. Try the KNAPPOGUE single malt with a Guiness back and you won't be sorry. Vicki, Marty, Alan, Donal will not disappoint... and if you are looking for a real Irish sing-along, try Sunday evenings (you might just get lucky). The pretentious, trendy-worshipping crowd need not bother.

What's the big deal?. I heard nothing but good things about this place. But upon checking it out it's nothing that great. The bathroom is so small you'll knock the guy washing his hands in the back with the door. I spent eleven dollars on one drink. That's not including a tip. The bartender and waitress were fast with bringing drinks, the seats we had were good but The band that played was horrible. The music sucked. Bad picks from the early nineties. I was expecting to hear ricky martin livin lavita loca anysecond. This place was lame.

No frills and all character, this popping pub brings the Blarney to Burbank Boulevard.. The Scene
Harp signs, Killian flags and a Colin Farrell sound-alike bartender help create the closest thing to Dublin one can find in the Valley. Sports are playing constantly, with TVs situated so every seat boasts good sightlines. Open pretty much all day, the stools are often occupied by regulars, accentuating the neighborhood feel. Fortunately, residential love hasn't created a locals-only attitude often found at similar places.

The Draw
Most nights feature live entertainment, from karaoke to Monday Night Live, an anything-goes open mic, once featuring some random guy reading Kerouac for five minutes. The food, ranging from the usual bar fare to bangers and mash, is tasty and reasonably priced. Often busy without being jam-packed, it's a festive atmosphere but not sardine city. And with so many regulars in the house, even newcomers will know half the bar after hanging out just a couple of times.

Best of Ireland. This bar is the best that Ireland has to offer. Great atmosphere, friendly service, reasonable prices. I've heard fantastic singers at the karoake mike. Great Irish bar. It's always lively - I've been there on a Sunday and it was packed. It's a great escape from trendiness - the only attitudes here are friendly!

User review by sgfood. Average neighbourhood Paddy bar: seems to have caught '4th Generation Irish Fever'. Not that authentic at all, beer is decent.

Simply the best. If you want to pretend you're in some hollywood version of Ireland go somewhere else, but if you want the best Irish pub in Southern Ca, you've come to the right place. It's a locals bar where you are made to feel right at home. No velvet ropes, no twiggy-esque servers with attitude, just a great atmosphere with great people.
