Dirty, disgusting & run down
by gofins at Citysearch
The ice itself: The wood floors are exposed because the ice is so thin, the ice itself is always under some kind of repair, the window in the back of the rink is broken with a plastic cover over it. It is one of the smallest rinks I have ever been to. Not well kept up at all. Next the viewing area if you like r@ts yes I said r@ts this is the place to be; they roam around where you are sitting near the Iceland Cafe (nice); the seating in uncomfortable and you have to beg the owner to turn on the cheap heaters, the glass i never cleaned so it is hard to see your skater enjoy their time oh and the reasons the r@ts like the place so well is because it is like a maze to get through it no signs to lead you anywhere. Lets now move on to the bathrooms DISGUSTING!!!!! You are requested to not put anything in the toilet (YUCK!!!!), no ventalation and poop smell.
Couldn't tell you about the food because I won't eat in places that welcome wild rats. Lastly the customer service the one owner and his son are so rude it is obvious the only care about 1 thing and that is you money coming out of their pocket, I have never felt so unwelcome in a place of business in my life Rude is putting it mildly. Oh and it you pay cash you don't get a receipt (huh I wonder if the IRS would be interested in that?) My suggestion find a better rink to go to it is not as if you will pay more since their small rink is the same admission as larger rinks in the ares.
- Pros: The coaches are friendly
- Cons: Everything else and I mean everything
HORRID

Where to begin? Alright, let's start with the horrible sanitation conditions; One word: r@t$ (I can't use the word...Citysearch won't let me). In all my time at the rink I've seen 3 and heard of maybe 10 more. I used to work at this rink, and I know for a fact they put up rattraps at the end of the day (but to no avail). Number two: The complete lack of professional atmosphere. Customer service representatives have no problem cursing, joking, and being rude around customers. Three: THIS PLACE IS FALLING APART AT THE SEAMS. There's a broken window towards the back (can be seen from the actual rink) that is covered with a taped trash bag. I'm serious. Other than the obvious horrible flaws (The rink itself is TINY, The area is in the middle of a horrible neighborhood, and there are dozens of laws being broken on a daily basis), this place is overflowing with negative ambiance and flimsy service. Opt to go to some of the larger ice rinks in the area (They're MUCH larger, and MUCH more worth the extra 15 minutes of driving). Iceland is a trainwreck.
- Pros: OK Value, Some good representatives (And some HORRIBLE)
- Cons: Everything else!, Overall structure, Size, Sanitarry conditions, Inappropriate for kids, Etc
