Great Food .... Great Party!. Marmalade Cafe is one of my favorite place to casually eat. My friends decided to have a baby shower for me and they had it at Marmalade Cafe and it was great! They have a quaint private room that was a perfect size for a baby shower. The restaurant was so easy to work with and allowed my friends to decorate and create a great party. The food was great, the service was amazing and the shower was a great success. Thank you!

Excellent Dining Experience!. My family and I have been dining at the Marmalade Cafe for a long time; we are loyal customers due to the delightful food and warm, polite, and extremely efficient service. Their menus selections are reasonably priced.

My favorites include the center cut pork chop (yummmmm!) and the garlic shrimp scampi; my mom loves their Eggs Benedict. Their house salad is perfect, with a mild yet distinctive balsamic vinaigrette dressing, goat cheese, and candied walnuts (perfect!). They have a comprehensive wine selection. At Thanksgiving (yes, I know it's too early in the year to be thinking of this), they serve luscious roast beef as well as the traditional turkey dinner.

Their service is excellent - the most attentive, polite, friendly, and efficient staff; they always go out of their way to make you feel at home. As an added delight, the decor is very pretty: a blend of French provincial and Shabby Chic. I highly recommend Marmalade Cafe.

great breakfast spot.... I like this place because it's close to home and they offer a really good breakfast on a lazy Sunday. They also accommodate peeps with gluten restrictions which is becoming increasingly more key.

Amazing Fresh Salads!. I love going to this place, it's always a favorite for Sunday brunch. The breakfast is amazing, especially the corned beef hash and I crave the salads. They're so fresh and perfect for the warm weather! My favorite is the marmalade house salad with the candied walnuts. My boyfriend is a big fan of their cobb salad.

marmalade. GREAT place to grab lunch with a group of friends. Everyone was friendly and I felt like I was having afternoon tea in a cottage. It was very cozy and the food was delicious, especially the ?pre-entree bread.? I had the Portobello/Veggie burger which was very tasty and the bread was grilled to perfection!

Shocking Experience. Ok guys..

I usually believe Los Angeles is a friendly city for different people u know. However; after visiting this place I felt I might be wrong. OMG, me and my pregnant friend went in this place and got seated. Our waiter came by and gave us water and gave us menu and left. We decided what to eat and waited our waiter came back to take an order. However; after 15 min nobody came to take our orders furthermore; the table who came after us already got bread and their first dish. I could not wait any longer so, I asked host whose name is Raul to find our waiter. He could've told us that he will do that or the waiter should be back shortly right? That's exactly what I was expecting to here. BUT, this man yelled at us "ONLY ONE WAITER!!!!" and yelled at us again "One Waiter!!!"

We were so shocked. What the ???? Also, there were at least 5 waiters in the restaurant. We felt very insulted and could not stay there anymore.

When we were just leaving I asked Raul to give us the business card and his name and also the waiter's name so I can file complain about it. Usually at this point he should give us sincere apology right? However; our Raul didn't disappoint us at all. He yelled at us again "THANK YOU!!!" it was very sarcastic way and I clearly remember what he said behind our back "Da... A s i a n s... ha ha"

Yes, I am a Asian lady who lives in LA and just last week, I got treated like trash by this place only because I have different skin color. I felt extremely humiliated and I am not gonna this thing just let go. I don't want any money or gift card from this restaurant but I want that host Raul and waiter TOM get fired.

Guys, what kind of world are we living today? Come On!!!

Great little breakfast place. This is a really quaint little cafe on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, it was featured in the movie "The Holiday" and really is very charming. Marmalade serves up good, hearty breakfasts, this place is always busy on the weekends, so the earlier you get there the better.

Cheery mini-chain specializing in gourmet comfort food, and eclectic take-out.. In Short
It's almost like sitting in someone's kitchen--chaotic, communal and appetite-stimulating. Homey dried flowers and hanging baskets feel familiar but the ingredients from this pantry are impressively foreign. Stuffed cases of gourmet goods line the casual-chic dining room, with sturdy wood tables and paneled windows. A vast sandwich selection like the Brie with balsamic and mixed greens are popular items, as are salads like the tangy green apple, chicken and yogurt. Take-out dinners feature chicken entrees with sides of grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes.

Excellent fish!. We went there on a Saturday night. All the other restaurants in the area were packed and waiting lists were endless. So we agreed on this eatery and were seated promptly. My friend had chicken fillet with veggies along with rice and I had fried (white) fish, rice and veggies. For all fish aficionados I would highly recommend this eatery. The service was nice, the atmosphere romantic and cozy. Plus, the steaming hot wholemeal rolls which were served alongside were sublime!

Good, not great.. I'm not sure how this place got so popular. It's got a nice atmosphere but the food is pretty normal. It's worth it, to go, but not if you're expecting something spectacular.
