Great hole-in-the-wall. This little place is obviously a local hangout that we stumbled on by accident. The workers are very cheerful and friendly. No, the decor isn't fabulous, but it's comfortable. bottom line: good food at great prices.

my neighborhood mexican. The food is not bad at all for the price. the decor is a little run-down, and you kind of sink in the seats, but maybe that's also part of the whole experience if you travel to Mexico. The staff is very friendly, good food, family atmosphere (I think they don't serve alcohol) and reasonably priced.

Good Times. The food is great and since they don't have a liquor license, you're free to BYO (although there's no official sign). About the same price as Baja Fresh, but way more authentic and better tasting. It's very popular with the neighborhood locals.
