STAY AWAY! These people are liars and thieves!

We dropped off our vacuum for a cord winder repair. They were supposed to call us with an estimate, but instead performed the job without calling for authorization. Then when we called to pick up the vacuum, they wanted more than $120 for repair and servicing the vacuum! I wouldn't have invested that amount. When I balked, they negotiated down to $60.

The cord winder never retracted, although they assured me that the unit had been replaced (and whined that the job took 2 hours).

Finally the situation was too difficult and I took it back to the store where I had bought and previously serviced, although it's significantly further away. They told me that the unit had not been replaced and there was no service performed, in fact the HEPA filter was nothing but a piece of foam rubber!

If you call, this is Extreme Vac & Sew. I had an awful experience with them. I called around and got quotes at about $36, for routine service with belt changes. When I arrived, the clerk told me that the service started at $80.00. When I told him of other quotes, he immediately dropped the price to $45.00, and acted like he was doing me a favor while still overcharging me. He also told me that my vacuum was a terrible unreliable model (It's Consumer Reports top rated, and hasn't given me any trouble), and then he tried to sell me one of his floor models.

PROS: NONE

CONS: Unprofessional, scary

friendly service fast repair. Great service reapired my vacuum with no problems had it ready for me the next day i will take my vacuum there again honest friendly service.
