yes, those filipina staff no customer service skills at all. They sometimes speakss their dielect loudly in front of many customers and unfriendly. So annoying.

The only good thing about this service is the price.... Pros: $7.00 each way

Cons: Busses are extremely loud with rattles everywhere and not that clean inside. I'm on these buses every week and at least once a month a bus always breaks down and everyone has to wait at least one hour for a replacement bus to arrive. All of the filipina employees that check your ticket stub ALWAYS look very unhappy, never smile and have no customer service skills.

*Once again the only good thing about this service is the price

LAX/VanNuys Airport Fly Away. My family has used the fly away for at least 30 years. There's no better way to go!

Nobody has to hassle bringing you to and from LAX and all the traffic,parking etc.

Went from convenient to crappy. We used to love the flyaway since we fly every month. But they started raising the prices every month, which seemed natural at first, but to double within 6 months is extreme. Along with the raised rates, they cut back on the frequency of the buses, mainly I noticed the difference on pickups, where we used to wait 5 or 10 minutes, now is 30. And they no longer take cash even though they have the cash ticket machines which is annoying when you are rushing to catch the bus. We just took it today and it was the last straw for us. After a 13 hour flight, we were ready to get home. The bus took 30 minutes and when it arrived, the guy said he could only take passengers with no luggage...who flies with no luggage?! I would assume only terrorists. The next bus would be there "momentarily". Ya right. As we waited, the amount of people just filled up, making us nervous that now everyone was gonna push to get on the bus. 30 minutes later, the bus came...and told us it was full and to wait for the next bus. Finally when the bus came and we managed to get on, the driver proceeded to shout that HE was the one who loaded all our bags, "ME, Grey shirt, in case you wanted to give me something for some reason"...and he said this twice! We always tip when we get our bags, but the blatent demand for it was soooo inappropriate. With all the hassles and now costing $12 round trip per person, if you are traveling with anyone, it is much better to park near the airport, who have quick free shuttles and save a lot of time and the cost would be the same. The time it takes to wait for the bus, you could have already driven there and since the prices are up so much, you aren't saving money anymore. Disappointing.

GREAT CHOICE FOR LAX TRANSPORT. This service is so cheap,clean and direct! Their buses are very clean and comfortable. Just need to keep in mind the buses run only every 30 min from Van Nuys; seem to be more frequent from the airport. And it's easier to get a friend tro drop you at the Van Nuys stop than go all the way to LAX.

Awesome Ride. Please take Fly away from LAX to Van nuys, it's incredible and cheap than a cab. Buses are clean, fresh and the seats are comfortable. This was my first experience with Fly away and I love it from LAX to Van nuys and from Van nuys to LAX. Try it, you will tell your experience...

Great service, great price and fast. 5:45 am on the bus at Van Nuys and into LAX and Northwest Airlines by 6:30 am. For $4.00 ( one way ) you can't beat that for price and service. I am from the midwest and really appreciate this kind of service. I will use this flyaway service again.

Shuttle worked great fro me!!. Didn't have any problem....LAX to VN on a friday evening. There was an attendant at the pick up stop to make sure I took the correct bus. The nearly empty bus pulled up almost immediately and loaded maybe 12 passengers total. The coach was in decent shape although the first seat I chose was broken. Turnstyles like BART to pay once you get to VN. Couldn't have been any more easy or convenient.
