User review by Bob W.. Staff treats you like family and delivers great service at moment's notice. Food at their newly refurbished restaurant is consistently delicious and their bar is a great watering hole to unwind the day. Happy hour beers are inexpensive like $2.50 Bud Draft and $3 domestic bottles. A real gem in the Valley.

Pull up your airplane at this stylish airport hotel.. The Scene
Surprisingly classy, given its not-so-fashionable East Valley location, this large Van Nuys airport hotel is a sanctuary of artful rock gardens and an artificial woodsy brook running through its manicured lawn. The hotel's most unusual asset is its complimentary private airplane or jet tie-down service. The property doesn't tend to attract the average tourist, but chances are you'll find a few amateur pilots and Lear-Jet-setting CEOs among the clientele.

The Details
Outside, the sunning lawn is lined with chaise lounges in front of the swimming pool---it gets unbearably hot in the Valley during the summer months, and sometimes even in the winter, so the pool is a real bonus. Inside, spacious guest rooms offer casual, tropically influenced décor. The five-story atrium lobby is lined with glass, letting in plenty of sunshine and views of the outdoor gardens. An aviation-themed restaurant and lounge serves up high-quality California cuisine and a decent bar scene.
