Just okay but, need improvements

I mean we know if we go to Flemings it will be pricey. This place has an advantage with live music. I hope Flemings get music because for the high price and you are not even amoung high class people. For V-day and NYE they up the prices and squeeze you in. Hello I dont' want to be forced to sit so close to strangers. Even in emails to the owner he is not that customer service friendly I guess he feels he doesn't have to. But, in this recession you still do.

Nowhere better in LA

I've eaten here many times. Never a disappointment. The food is SUPERB. The service is great. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The choices on the menu, too. And the desserts! OH!

It does get a bit loud on the live-music nights, but there is seating outdoors, too.

Great Free Live Jazz & R&B

Cafe Cordiale has to be the best live music spot in what most people call The Valley, but what I like to call, "The Ventura Corridor." Great social scene mixed with regulars at the bar. Food is excellent, but be sure to get there early if you want to be there for the band!

• Cons: Can get crowded, a bit expensive

A Refreshing Classy Casual Place

We just moved to the valley and were looking for a local place to "hang our hat." This place is everything the other reviews said it was, nice atmosphere but not pretentious, great food, great service - and yes the owner does walk around and seat you/shakes your hand. We went early (baby at home, babysitter = $$) so we were with the "twilight" crowd but upon exiting around 8:30pm a younger more diverse crowd were entering. We will definately be going back to this place. Great wine selections and priced nicely. You can also eat/drink at the bar. Very convenient and comfortable with good food! It's perfect for families (if you go early) and perfect for a night life as well, later in the evening.

great place to have a first date...

I love the ambiance as well as their food. It is a very classy restaurant, so it's more of a place where u can take a date or a loved one. Although it can be a little crowded in dinner time when the live band plays, probably due to word of mouth of how incredible this place is, so i would recommend making reservations ahead of time.
