Rude staff - and the bagels are definitely NOT NY style!. I live down the street and went here a few times. Never has the woman behind the counter looked me in the eye. Never have I received a "good morning" or "hello" from her. She just stands there and expects you just to order and leave. They have no personlities there!! How hard is it to say hello??

Oh, and I'm originally from NY and the bagels are NOTHING LIKE NY BAGELS! They are hard and thick - not soft and fluffy like NY bagels are. Honestly, bagged bagels from Ralphs are better than this place.

I'd skip the salads they have. They always look like they have been sitting out all day, and with mayonnaise as an ingredient, you could get sick that way! Clearly their food is not refrigerated!

the ONLY place to eat bagels. This is a very small restaurant where you order at the counter and they call you when your food is ready. It's clean and has lots of free reading material. The bagels are great!!! They are chewy and slightly crispy on the outside and soft (but not doughy) on the inside. Perfect! They have a lot of different flavors, I like the salt bagels the best and I like to order one toasted with cream cheese and tomato. They always cut them in half (crosswise & lengthwise) which makes them less messy to eat. They also have a wide variety of beverages. Get a bag of day old bagels to go for $4.00! The only drawbacks to this place are a very small menu and they close early (2:00 p.m.!!!)
