The Scene
Don't let the velvet rope fool you, there are no doormen with over-inflated biceps and egos here. And even better--there's no guest list. The only requirement to get into this low-key venue is a love of the blues. From the musicians performing onstage to the vibrant paintings of blues legends adorning the walls, Cozy's is the place for Valley-bound blues enthusiasts.
The Draw
People come here for the music, and weekend shows are often standing-room-only. Although the stage is small, the acoustics are crisp. In between sets, folks gather around the candlelit tables or find their way to the back room for pool. The audience tends to be a bit older--groups of friends and couples in their 30s and 40s are in the majority--so the vibe is relaxed and people are likely to sing along and dance, if the spirit moves them.

ParkingThe best bet is the free lot behind the club. Parking on Ventura is limited, and many neighborhoods are restricted. Some people take their chances in the Ralph's lot across the street.

"Live Band Karaoke" is currently being performed weekly in the San Fernando Valley by the Top 40 cover band O FeeL YA every Sunday night at The Studio Suite located at 4823 Whitsett Av. Bad food, bad service, bad music! Why bother? This place has seen better days and the management is out of touch with today! I paid my money and waited 3 hours for the band to come on. They kept assuring that the music would start soon. As they began to play I had to leave...I WAITED 3 HOURS Thought it fair they refund my music charge. They wouldn't give it.
