The Goods
Whoever your deity of choice is--Buddha, Shiva, Jesus--this shop stocks statuettes of them all, along with Wiccan altar chalices, divining pendulums, smudging herbs, candles, incense and tarot cards. The spiritual art and artifacts represent not only all the major (and minor) religions, but the spiritual cultures of the Incas, Aztecs and the ancient Egyptians. Book Shop lacking Books

I was underwelmed when I went to this shop. The atmosphere wasn't very welcoming & most of the shelves were empty. First time I've gone to a metaphysical shop and left feeling worse than when I went in.

Offbeat Atmospheric Shopping at it's Best!

I had been to the Psychic Eye's Burbank location before..it was small and rather unimpressive, but the one in Sherman Oaks blew me away. There's a great selection of herbs, candles, Tarot cards, tumbled stones, as well as religious statues (from every religion there is, I think) and tons of great gifty items. I tend to stop by a couple of times a week now (blush) because there's always something new to look at, I enjoy getting a reading every now and then from their psychic readers. For the most part, the psychics are good readers and genuinely believe in what they do, which is very nice. The staff are fun and helpful, despite the fact that their phones ring off the hook and rarely let them away from the front desk. If you do stop in, listen to some of the music they play...it's a really unique blend of New Age/World with really cool ambient electronica and soundtrack jazz mixed in. All in all, a truly unique atmosphere and fun place to shop. Definitely recommended!
