Eating outside on a summer like night.... The best aspect of the evening was our server

Heidi. She was friendly, pro-active (checking back) and providing refill of coffee, water etc.

The meal itself, chicken faitias and mesquite

burrito was fresh and seasoned just right.

In addition, we,for the first time, sat outside on the patio, and were able to engage in conversation.

So,if you want a fun meal check on this Chevy's and,if possible, ask to sit in Heidi's section.

Chevys Fresh Mex. All I have to mention is the fact there was a rubber band in the first salsa bowl we got serverd last Tuesday and unknown objects in the second bowl. We had to go dine elsewhere. I have yet to hear back from the regional manager after sending them an e-mail.

I guess the bottom line is - eat at you own risk...

5 Years ago I would have rated Chevy's 5 Stars. Please don't get me wrong, I still like Chevy's but like another person said, it seems to have gone downhill and mainly over the past couple of years. One complaint I have is, if they remove any other items from their menu choices, all they will have to offer is appetizers, Fajitas, tacos and burritos and the price of their Fajitas seems to consistantly keep going up and the portion size down. Many times you have to ask for their tortillas or you won't get any. They used to make sure everybody had them with their meal. They used to offer a 1/2 chicken meal that was really good, they used to offer fish and carnitas. Now the only seafood they offer is shrimp enchiladas, burritos or tacos (and the shrimp in my enchiladas was a little gamey the last time so I'll never order that again). Their chips are still great, served warm, crispy and nice and thin and the salsa has always been great and still is. It would be nice if they offered a carne asada dinner plate, a chicken plate and a carnitas plate again otherwise the only way to get these are in burritos, tacos or fajitas. So in conclusion, at this point, my family hasn't eaten there in months and we have started eating at other restaurants for our Mexican food cravings, namely, Don Cuco's and Acapulco. Hence, the 3 star rating here, sorry.

margaritas and fajitas!!!!!. I love Chevy's! The manager Edgar is amazing!- always says hi to my boyfriend and I and is very personable. The margaritas are excellent! especially the pineapple coconut and the topshelf, as well as their chips which are so thin and crispy and warm with the delicious salsa they serve. As far as food goes I recommend the mixgrill fajitas or the flautas..... Also they have a stupid cheap happy hour! It's awesome. I would be lost without Chevy's. Oh and now they have fried ice cream too! This is making me hungry!

A festive atmosphere, potent margaritas and wallet-friendly prices lure crowds to this popular Mexican chain.. In Short
With friendly servers and goofy gimmicks, Chevys is a big draw for families and groups looking for a fun, affordable night out. A full bar and a dozen different margaritas attract a happy hour crowd, and a tortilla machine is often surrounded by children watching the dough-to-tortilla transformation. Fajitas, a house specialty, are available with nearly a dozen different fillings, from mesquite-grilled chicken to portobello mushrooms and asparagus. Desserts include flan and sopaipillas.

OMG I Love Chevys!!!!. Okay, I always used to go to Chevy's in Glendale with my friends and it was our favorite place to eat Mexican food. When we went one day we saw a sign that said Out of Buisness and we almost cried. Then I searched Chevy's on google and I found out that there's one in Burbank. I was SOoooooo happy. We went and tried Chevy's at Burbank and it was better that Glendale's. I recommend the nachos combo with chicken and beef mixed and I recommend their freshly made gucamole the one they come and make especially for you next to your table. The CHIPS is DELICIOUS! and so i the salsa! i LOVEE chevyss soo much and i recommend it to all chips and salsa and nachoo loverrss!!!!! CHEVYSS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!

memorable margarita. When i think of all the good memorable margaritas i think of good ol chevys. Either on the rocks or blended they are fantastic! And while your waiting for you food those chips are pretty darn tasty.I have never been a fan of hot stuff let alone salsa but i can actually say that i liked the salsa. The food? It was okay.Mostly american food. Not mexican at all. THe service was not that great and the waiters are scarce. But as long as you have a margairta and some chips id skip the food and go next door to california pizza kitchen

Passable Food. Chevy's had a good thing going for awhile: chain food that wasn't bad. The homemade tortillas were a nice touch, and the margaritas kicked ass. It was also a fun place for birthdays because they'd make you wear a funky sombrero. Now, it seems like the quality has gone down tremendously. It's a much lower common denominator of Mexican food. The rice packs too much of a kick for most Gringos to handle. The rest of the menu is somewhat generic. Bottom line: why go here when we live in a city filled with authentic Mexican food and tons of healthy fresh mex stands.

Food not Cooked. My friends and I used to frequent this place quite often. Then we started to notice that the food was coming out of the kitchen luke-warm. We constantly had to send our food back to be heated up. The last straw was when my friend got her food and her Tamale was FROZEN in the center. Needless to say we didn't stay and we haven't been back.
