good mexican food, order lunch menu, liked atmosphere, good chicken enchilada, very tasty refried beans, pretty good service, good lunch spot
IF THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL MEXICAN!!!!!!!. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE NICE AMBIANCE EVERYONE DESCRIBES. THIS PLACE ADVERTISES AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD, THAT'S A BIG JOKE. I TOOK MY FAMILY TO HAVE MENUDO AND ALL WE GOT WAS BLOODY RAW MEAT WITH BONES. THE COFFEE WAS COLD AND WHEN THE SERVER REFILLED IT WE GOT LEFTOVER COFFEE FROM THE POT. WE ASKED THE SERVER ABOUT THE RAW MEAT AND SHE RESPONDED BY SAYING THAT THE COOK HAD ADDED THE NERVE PARTS OF THE MEAT! BLOODY DISGUSTING! NEVER EATING THERE AGAIN.
Barely make the grade. Ordinary, average Mexican food. Ate here twice, have decided to spend my Mexican food dollar at better places. If you want Good Mexican food, try Don Cuco's, you won't come back here.
Decent mexican. I came here with some coworkers for a lunch meeting once and liked the atmosphere of the place. As I was the only person there who wasn't a regular, the waitress knew everyone's orders and brought out some of the better chips and salsa I've had in town. Their chicken enchilada was good, and their refried beans were very tasty. I'd come back.
Hit and miss. Although the food is generally good once in a while it is off the mark. Their specialty soup has had undercooked vegetables and the breakfast ham is actually a type of spam. But otherwise a typical slightly anglicized mexican restaurant. I'm not saying it's bad. The food is good. Just don't expect Mexico style tacos or anything too exotic.
Editorial Review. Family-owned Mexican mini-chain serves traditional sopas, enchiladas and specialty margaritas.
Cheese Overkill. The food was horrible! I would've had a better meal at Taco Bell. They drown everything in cheese as if to try to hide how bad the food tastes. The Margaritas were a little too strong and lacked the layering which it should've had. The only good thing was the appetizer dish.
