Tips for Black Angus Steakhouse

I won't be going back, entirely due to my recent experience this past Wednesday evening just before closing.

There was a small group sitting next to us whom was being unusually disruptive and uncontrolled. I politely voiced my concern to the manager on duty and informed her that not only myself but others around me were very uncomfortable and that our experience was being ruined. She glanced over at the table in question as she rolled her eyes at me and said that there was nothing that could or would be done. I could feel her vibe before I even spoke that she was going to fail to do her job. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She acted almost as if she were offended by my speaking up. After I asked for my check and was on my way out I saw her shmoozing with the disruptive party as if she knew them personally or as if they had some special privilege. Just a flat out weird experience. Shame on you and shame on BA for hiring you.

This is such a disappointment because the actual service is always so great.

Don't go here, seriously.

Tasty Food, High Prices. I had never been to this restaurant and thought we should try it out. We went here with our friends, and I had made reservations ahead of time. We were seated promptly but only by the kitchen. It was a very uncomfortable booth so I decided to ask them to change our seat. Which they did. The sevice was OK, nothing special. The food was delicous but it was extremely small portions. The salad that I had ordered was exteremely small. The price was extremely high for such a small portion. Although, it was tasty. For the amount of money we spend we could have gone somewhere else and actualy walked out full. If you decide to go make sure you order something else with the salad or else you will walk out hungry.

Terrible customer service.... I'm a regular patron at this particular branch, majority of the time the customer service ranges from bad to average. I've never experiece one when I can actually say it was good. This last time was the last straw, although we were prompted seated, the server did not come to take our order until after 15 minutes. The drinks and food came late as well. To top all that Vicky, our server, had a very bad attitude even in the very beginning. She did not smile even once, she wasn't friendly nor helpful. In addition she also took my order wrong. I didn't mind eating or paying for what I got. What had me fuming was when I mentioned it to Vicky, she sarcastically pointed out to me that it was my fault since I didn't clarify what I wanted. I finally got up to look for the manager. James, the manager was very professional and very nice. Not only did he acknowledged the issue, he made sure he took care of us to make up for Vicky. He tried giving us discount for our tab, which I declined. Its not the money, most customers don't mind paying extra just to get great customer service. I wanted to point out to him that customer complains, not for discount or freebies, its to raise an issue that needs to be addressed. Now the food in this place, isn't too bad. I especially come here for the prime rib. But its when you get treatment like this that makes you NOT want to come back. In fairness I should say the place has a nice ambience, the price is average, parking is available and free. The only thing that needs to be improved is the customer service.
