Great Food - Excellant service - gotta try this place.. Wonderful experience for my wife and I - no rush and great food. We gotta go back.
Great food like home made nice music. Excellent food well priced. On the weekend they have a singer with a very romantic guitar
Best Colombian Food in LA!. I recently tried Cafe Colombia for dinner on a Friday night and was soooo pleasantly surprised! The food was amazingly delicious and tasted very authentic. They also had live Colombian music that night that gave the place a great vibe and energy! The prices were definitely reasonible, but the food was so great honestly I would've paid more! I will definitely be giving Cafe Colombia more visits-I highly suggest trying it! Great food, great South American wines...Delish!!!
Poor Service, Mediocre food, bad experience.. I know what Colombian food should taste like and the day I was at the restaurant, a Saturday night, the food was mediocre, at best. The ajiaco was cold, the meat was tough, and the service was terrible. I didn't eat most of what I ordered and my husband didn't like his carne asada, either. We ordered iced tea and it came long after our meal was served. I won't go back and I don't recommend it to my friends. I don't know what happened because the other reviews were good but I was very disappointed.
Best Colombian Food. Cafe Colombia has THE BEST food! When you enter, the friendly staff greets you in Espanol which just adds to the authentic ambience. You can call in your order, walk in and take it to go, or join the other patrons dining in. This hidden gem is a MUST!
Best Place For Your Colombian Craving. This place is delicious. Its great for the whole family. With scrumcious appetizers and all. The prices are also great. With colombian classics playing in the background while enjoying your colombian cuisine. The wait is very short aswell. I would give this place an 11 ... Overall this was a good place for everyone to enjoy. But make sure to make a reservation for friday and saturday nights because it gets pretty packed.
Nice introduction to Colombian cuisine. Full-course meal--from appetizer to dessert & coffee--can be had for as little $12-$15/head. Big servings, good for groups and sharing. Very friendly service--owner offered recommendations and took pains to explain what the dishes, beverages, & ingredients were. Try the obleas w/ caramelized milk and fruit preserve for dessert. Restaurant also sells Colombian goodies to take home. Went there one weekday lunch, parking was ok. Guitar music on Fri nights with no cover charge (I think). Worth going back and bringing more friends to. Ask for the English menu or practice Spanish with the Spanish menu.
If you like Colombian food this is the place!. Very excellent service from the family that runs this restaurant. There's room for about 30 people maximum so if you don't want to wait, you will need to get there early around 6:00 to 7:00pm. Making a reservation is good. The night I was there, a musician played all the Colombian favorites and the customers joined in! My family and friends thoroughly enjoyed the food. And don't miss the plantain appetizers!
Excellent Colombian food.
Operated by husband and wife, the food is of excellent quality and the service is great. The restaurant is small. I have gone there several times and have not been dissapointed. The Colombian fruit shakes are great. Cost per person with fruit shakes and side order of empanadas, almojabanas plus tax and tip , should be around $15.00.
Parking is a problem.
