So cute and fresh food!. Lily's is a great find in Burbank. Not only is it cute with it's decorations and iron tables, but Lily herself provides great customer service. She always remembers a face, and is a great hostess. I just went today for lunch, and although it does get a little busy, it's worth the wait. The sandwiches are always fresh, the soups are to die for, especially on fridays when she serves Clam Chowder. I ordered a fruit jello cup, and it was delicious as well. I'm a big fan of her iced tea! Overall, Lily's is a cute little spot to grab some lunch, with fresh veggies and fruits to brighten up your day.

Maybe you need to pay for. My initial response was small, cute and pleasant with a home town feel.

Soup of the day was tastily and I loved the choice of bread. My disappointment happened shortly after the entree arrived, which was a beautiful tuna sandwich. The sandwich was pilled high with cheese, tomatoes, avocado ( I paid extra to get), and to my surprise there was hardly any TUNA!! In fact I don't believe the was more than a tablespoon of tuna on the entire sandwich. If I had asked for a mile high veggie sandwich this would have been fine, but this was a TUNA sandwich.

Sorry Lilly, don't know if I showed up on a bad day, but I can't give you a good recommendation on your cute little restaurant.

Lastly the "sweet tea", was a great disappointment too. I love sweet tea, but this tasted like orange soda, with a little tea mixed into the pitcher.

My suggest:

I think you can find a better meal, if you venture a little west of Lilly's

Fresh, Healthy, Incredibly Flavorful, and CHEAP. I am hesitant to give a review of Lily's - it's already crowded enough, I don't think it needs any more hype - but seriously, this place is awesome. Everything I've ever ordered has been so fresh and flavorful. I am a huge fan of her soups- they change daily, and my favorites are the turkey meatball and turkey chili. Her veggie sandwich, with flavorful veggies and rich brie cheese, is also to die for.

I can't remember the exact prices, but I usually get the soup/sandwich combo and it's about $6. Her iced tea is also incredible (but don't ask for the recipe, it's a secret apparently). Go early (before noon) or late (after 2), or you risk waiting a while for your food.

Best Kept Secret. The secret is out! Lily's is the best place for lunch in Burbank! Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. Everything from the soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts - are all so very delicious! It's a family run business, focusing on quality. The place is as small as a closet so order ahead! It's definitely worth the wait! My favorite is the Turkey Chili and the Ice Tea!

A really great cafe. I absolutely love lily's cafe, not only are the people so nice, the food is amazing. Her clam chowder is always to die for, but you gotta order it right away cause sometimes she runs out and she serves it only on fridays.

Petite Cal-French lunch shop charms crowds with gourmet sandwiches, salads and soups.. In Short
Yellow-washed walls and wrought-iron tables transport lunching patrons to sunny Provence. Menu items are prepared daily and served up personally by the owner in this small, popular eatery, where tables fill up fast around the noon hour. Sandwich choices include Black Forest ham and swiss cheese, grilled vegetables with feta and fresh basil, and smoked salmon with dill and cream cheese--all on breads from La Brea Bakery. Freshly made desserts are prepared in-house.
