Tips for Central Park Pizza

tasty-chewy hand-tossed crust, good delivery, nice service on phone.
I was looking for a good, basic pizza place -- a cut above chains -- to buy pizza for my coworkers in Burbank.
After reading good reviews for Central Park Pizza on Chowhounds I first called North End Pizzeria, but they didn't have any specials even though I was ordering 3 large pizzas. Since I didn't want to spend over $50 for lunch, I called Central Park Pizza, which has good specials. They were able to deliver to my work location on my credit card, even though I told them I wasn't going to be there to receive the pizza. Good marks for delivery, customer service, and value.
The pizza is a good basic pie -- I had three one-topping pizzas: one pepperoni, one sausage, and one mushroom. The mushroom pizza turned out a little bland but the sausage pizza and the pepperoni pizza really fit the bill. A definite winner for traditional, hand-tossed pizza with chewy-crunchy crust.
