Great Sushi Downtown LA. The sushi is very fresh. Good size. It is pretty expensive. I think on Thursdays they have an all you can eat lunch buffet that includes sushi, but the buffet sushi is nothing great.

Rude staff. Although the staff was very attentive to our timing, they were rude to us in general. We went to eat as a family, and our waitress was... for lack of better word... condescending. We did not appreciate that. Furthermore, their signature filet mignon was average and the drinks were below average. The sushi though, was ok, but I've had better.

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Upscale Japanese restaurant and cocktail lounge in downtown's Wilshire Grand hotel offers sushi and tempura bars.

AMAZING Japanese food. I guess you can say that I am a sushi freak. I have been to many japanese restaurants and this one goes up there on the list of the best. The decor is of a fusion between traditional Japanese and clean-lined modern design. There is a wide variety of food starting from a full stocked fresh sushi bar (the chef says he goes to the fish market daily) and a delightful a la carte menu. The bar is also a plus; there is a large selection of western drinks as well as many different kinds of sake or shochu. I would say that this restaurant is a must-go to all Japanese food lovers and those who may not know much about Japanese food but wish to try something that is authentic and amazing.

hard-core sushi!. my co-worker took me here for lunch to try their sushi because they were boasting to be the best and the freshest. i was skeptical thinking it was gonna be another authentic-wannabes! after a few pieces, my apology to the chef! the best i've had so far and i've had a few. i couldn't live without rice, so trust me. besides sushi, they have an awesome steak teriyaki. the filet mignon will just melt in your mouth.

A hidden treasure. If you're downtown and looking for quality sushi with atmosphere, you need to stop here. There's a cool aquarium in the middle of the restaurant and not only a Sushi Bar, but a separate Tempura Bar too. There's more fish than rice on each roll and the chef is more than happy to create you a special roll if it's not on the menu. The regular menu is pretty traditional, but offers an assortment including steak. They also have a variety of high end sakes and sampling trays.
