Bad at nails. I work in downtown and needed to get my nails done on the cheap. Well $15 for a crappy manicure isn't very cheap. The girl used way too much polish so about an hour after I left the polish was all bubbly and it was all over my cuticles. I had to take it off and just do the polish myself. She barely spoke English and her daughter was running around the whole store like she owned the place. The manicurist was more concerned with her daughter than the customer (isn't school in session!?!) At least she was nice, but didn't know how to paint nails to save her life. She did a little hand massage and moisturizing and the tools she used were clean but that is about all that was good about the place. And the owner(?) was teaching English to one of the girls who was working behind the counter. Ghetto.

don't go here. I'm from out of town and I was in LA on business. I needed a haircut and I was staying downtown, which didn't leave me many options. The few places that are downtown were around $50 for a male trim. Ultima was the most reasonable at $25, but the guy who cut my hair seemed like he had never cut hair in his life. My hair was completely uneven and I am going to need to go get it fixed by somebody else. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Bad Bad Bad :(. It is unfortunate that they are such nice people but just not the best work of art.

I had to get a fill done for my nails; however, the hotel I was staying in did not service acrilyc nails, so they recommended me to go to Ultima Beauty Salon.

I got a pedicure and fill done at the same time.

When completed, it looked like I did it myself! The frech pedicure whilte lines were uneven and did not look uniform . Some lines were thick and some thin- horrific!

My fill needed some more of fine sanding- however, the lady just grinded my nails and applied 1 coat of clear coat for my french tip and sent me away :(

And all of that for $48?! it's ridiculous-

Please, don't go there! I beg you!
