Good traditional Mexican.. Costa Azul is an oft-overlooked gem among the many Mex places in the Valley. The menu is big and varied, but they specialize in tradtitional Mexican seafood dishes. The large seafood soups and huge bowls packed with fish and shellfish in a tasty broth. The large shrimp cocktails are packed with large, fresh shrimp. The non-seafood dishes are also good- try the carnitas and the pork tamales. Costa Azul also serves up some good wine margaritas. The atmosphere is loud, with Mexican futbol on the big screen tv at most times. They are usually crowded for weekend lunches. The service is sometimes slow or inattentive, but the food will not disappoint.
