thick coffee, excellent breakfast, best game, too bad wait, just love family restaurant, good american coffee shop, enjoy food
Worste exoerience ever. I waited for almost 20 minutes just to be able to pay. When i asked for the check they said they were "too busy." Raul the waiter is useless and rude. It wasn't until i started walking out that they finally acknowledged me. The food was terrible. Coral cafe is also 24hr and a much better Burbank option
They have beer!. I have been coming to Harry's for over 25 years, in high school after games, in my 20's after a night out and it always has been a place to get a decent sandwich or breakfast. Well tonight I was craving a burger and beer and it hit the spot. It has not changed much over time but that's fine, the food has always been consistent.
It's all about the experience. How can you beat Harry's? It's true. They welcome the kids from BHS and the officers from BPD and you'll frequently see both groups there whether sipping coffee or chowing down on some good American Coffee Shop eats. The coffee is good and hot, the sandwiches are thick and well made and the dinners are real food. Breakfast is excellent and everything is about the same as it must have been in 1965. We've always been friendly with the staff and they are friendly and attentive in return. Can't ask for more than that. Eat at Harry's!
From what I heard.... So it's been awhile since my wife and I have gone but we were pleasantly surprised with our experience. Apparently the management has changed and the place now is cleaner than ever. The wait staff was quick and polite. The food seemed better, a solid breakfast to start my long day. The word was that daily specials were in the works (sorry could not tell you what they might be!). Overall I had a quality experience and my wife and I are planning on going back this Saturday. Get there early and the wait shouldn't be too bad.
Twenty-four-hour diner offers traditional American fare, seafood dishes and a handful of Greek-style favorites..
In Short
Green booths, counter seats and interior rock-wall sections give a straight-out-of-the-70s vibe to this Valley cafe, which fills with seniors, local teens and assorted night owls. The partly enclosed patio offers heat lamps, aerial fans and large palm trees for scenery. The menu contains coffee shop-standard beef dips, burgers and country-fried steak, as well as Greek salad, gyros and kabobs. Seafood dishes include fried scallops, grilled halibut and mahi mahi.
Open 24 Hours. A third alternative to Bob's Big Boy and the Coral Cafe for late night coffee shop dining, coffee drinking, burning the midnight oil. The food is OK, but the service usually leaves a lot to be desired, maybe because they get a lot of high school students who sit there forever and only order coffee. However, there is a big parking lot, comfortable booths inside and an outside patio where you can smoke outside.
