Fry me to the Moon.... I just don't know about the others, but my wife and I had a blast! First of all, the store looks like a hollywood movie. There's a giant spaceship made to look like it crashed into the building and that theme carries into the store itself. Now Fry's is like an outlet, and it's always best to know your machine before you shop. Like any store, not everybody knows everything. The suggestion to adapt was perfect for me. The price to add 2 USB ports to one of my PCI slots, 128MB of ram, and a new printer was less than what it would have cost to repair my old printer. We played with the demo stuff without being hasseled, no wait at all in line on a weekend and everybody was friendly. That's not the service I'm used to -- unfortunatley. I hope everytime is like that one.

Good prices - poor service. Much like Best Buy, you can get some great deals here. But trying to get help here is similar to trying to find Sasquach. I heard they exist...

this place sucks!. I've never had worse experiences shopping for computers/electronics than I did at Fry's...and when I finally got the equipment at home, opening the package revealed not only that they were used (even though they weren't marked that way), but they did not work either.

good for sales. This place is good if you know what you want and what price you saw it for but most stores when you walk in they have people ready to help you hear the y just stand there but there is a couple of cool people working there that will help you but mostly id just go there knowing what you want. and not talking to anyone that works therect the cashier.

Weak customer service.... I've been going to Fry's for years and I've learned one thing. Unless you already know exactly what you want and you've checked to see they have the best price, don't waste your time. The poor customer service and long lines aren't worth it. If you need to ask for help or suggestions, this is not the place. Save yourself frustration and do your research somewhere else. They do have good sales and I still go to get a good deal occasionally. Otherwise, skip this joint.
