Been coming here for over 15 years! The fresh shredded chicken or pork tacos genuinely feed your need for some fresh, juicy Mexican. Throw in the beans and order a Horchata.

Best Fresh Mex. I've been coming here for years, and I'll keep coming back because the food is good, pretty healthy and the servers are always nice. it says a lot when a "fast food" place can retain servers over the course of 10-15 years, and they get promoted too. most fast food joints keep people for a couple months and they leave disgrunted. the food here is very fresh and delicious. i'm not super wild about the tacos but i love the burritos. there's no rice and beans filler, just hearty meat. yum. prices are reasonable. sometimes i splurge and get the fish or shrimp burritos, sans rice. anyway, it's a great meal for under $10.

nbc studio secret. I love Poquito Mas. the food is very good, inexpensive, and very fresh. The salsa is always made fresh. We like to have Poquito Mas for lunch or dinner. We order out while working. The only catch is that they do not provide delivery service. It would be a plus for us (St Joseph Medical Center staff) Try the steak burritos, they also have chicken and shrimp. The burritos are huge, can save half or share with someone Try it!

Fresh Food Fast.
The only reason to eat at an actual Mexican restaurant in LA is for the margaritas. If you don't want to drink, but do want good food this is the place to go. The Poquito Mas motto says it all: "We don't make fast food, we make fresh food as fast as we can."
I've been eating at this particular one for about 10 years. The steak burritos are soooo good. I love their mild salsa inside, then I pour the salsa verde (spicy!) on top.
The only thing I don't like there are the enchiladas. They put the cheese on top rather than inside.
The studio plates are good, as are the fish and shrimp tacos and burritos. Basically anything on the menu is a great value for your money.
