In Short – Oversized mahogany booths, a black-and-white tile floor and vintage photographs add up to a '40s chic experience. Straightforward starters include popcorn shrimp, quesadillas and a host of salad choices. Entrees are more stick-to-your-ribs fare, like the signature flaky chicken pot pie and a mushroom-topped meat loaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli on the side. Down-home desserts include strawberry shortcake and apple pie.

Not worth it

I recently ordered lunch from this Daily Grill location and was unimpressed. I normally order from the downtown LA location and have never had any problems. My order was incorrect and tthe server was unapologetic and rude. This location is chaotic and unprofessional. The food (I ordered the chicken picatta), once the order was corrected, was still decent. If you want to try this restaurant, definitely go to a different location.

It Was A Less Than An Average Meal

We went to the Daily Grill on the Friday before Memorial Day. Unfortunately, the experience was less than average as they were short staffed and food was mediocre. We all ordered the Classic Cheese Burger for which we had to request mayo (there was no dressing on the bun) but the burger was good, however, the fries were cold or old and we constantly had to ask for water or coffee as was the case. Quite a bit for burger that ended up costing us with a 15% tip almost $19.00. Would not recommend it.
