Authetic Mariscos (seafood)

I have always thought this place was very authentic and my husband used to live in Guadalajara and he is the one who first brought me there. Their carne asada plate is fantastic, so is their camarones de cocktail - which is a mexican cocktail. My son love the cheese quesadilla with rice and beans. I had to feed a post production sound crew one day and did a take out of all of their shrimp and meat dishes and all these very big guys were absolutely thrilled with the food. However, that being said, there is some parking in the back but if it's a crowded night - forget it. It's very popular. The waiters are very nice - like kids too. The salsa is good. I do not like the albondigas soup but my husband loves it. There are these very big mexican seafood soups with everything in them which are very popular as well. They are expensive, but when you consider what you are getting it's well worth it.
- Pros: good food at reasonable prices
- Cons: parking is dreadful. Don't go on a busy night.

this place has been around for probably 15 years at least. it's unique for area restaurants b/c while there are many mexican places in burbank, there's only one mexican seafood restaurant. that said, it is pricey. i must warn you of thatl, and i don't think the value for the prices is there. seafood has never tasted super fresh too me here. however, if you have never had some of these dishes before, it's a good introduction. service is nice. big naugahyde booths. they often have 2-1 advertisements, and if you can get one of those, then it might be worth a try if you live in the area.
- Pros: 2-1 offers sometimes, unique for burbank
- Cons: too expensive for quality
