THE BEST RIBS EVER. Delicious ribs with the meat literally falling off the bone. Great BBQ sauce too. I also really like the rib tips, give those a try if you feel like using a fork! The macaroni & cheese is a little different, it's not super creamy and it has green peppers in it but I still like it. The atmosphere is super casual, they have free peanuts and you throw the shells on the floor. Great friendly and quick service. Highly recommended for food & service.

User review by tabemono. Plus - Fast! We were promptly seated and given two paper cups to fill our own drinks at the dispenser along with our own cornbread and butter. Next to the soda machine is a sink with paper towels and soap to wash your hands before and after you eat. The waiter was attentive and friendly and fast without being pushy and our food was served immediately.

Minus - Parking spaces in the back are scarce (street parking is available). There wasn't enough sauce on the ribs and the meat was not as tender as thought it should be. The macaroni & cheese tasted and looked like mac & scrambled eggs. A bit on the pricey side.

Outstanding. This is truly one of the best BBQ joints I have experienced. We come here about 6 times a year and have enjoyed the service as much as the food each and every visit. The cooks certainly know what they are doing and the servers could not be more helpful and polite. A couple of them are actually pretty funny. Scores a 10 in my book.

If I wanted a McRib, I'd go to McDonald's!. I had heard great things about this place, so I invited a friend along to order tri-tip sandwiches for take-out. The wait was VERY long, service was indifferent at best, and when we got the sandwiches home -- they were TINY (the bun dimensions were literally 2"x5", like a McRib and smaller than 1/2 of a Subway sandwich), and each had a maximum of four thin slices of tri-tip in them. They tasted fine, but not outstanding... and definitely not worth the $25 bill.

Ribs USA. The service was great! Ribs were good....meat fell right off the bone...sauce was excellent! Not quite as good as the ones in houston..guess i'm used to all the mesquite. Sausage links were good....but pricey. Overall I would go back again to try other meals.

Plenty of food. We picked this place after reading some fellow user reviews and were happy we did. While the food was good, the service was even better. Our drinks arrived within a minute of ordering, and we had our food in under 3 minutes. The baby back ribs were tender and could be pulled right off the bone, having just the right amount of bbq sauce. We'll definitely eat here again.

Beer, buckboard and baby back ribs at this Burbank shack.. In Short
Peanuts, scooped from a barrel at the door, add to the layer of shells and sawdust strewn across the concrete floor. Open rafters and beer signs help make this the most convincing of honky-tonks. Knives are presented partly as a joke, as barbecued pork, chicken and beef fall from the bone. Baby back ribs are infused with caramelized barbecue sauce, and cornmeal-encrusted catfish comes with tartar sauce. Sweet potato pie and peach cobbler complete the meal.

BBQ FEEDBACK. Very good service. She was fast, pleasant and always returned to check on us. She apologized for the food saying that it's usually much better. She said that the cooks tend to overcook rather than undercook the entrees. For us, overcook means grisly & tough. That's what we got. Truly a bad meal from the food standpoint. We'll return again next week ti see if it was an aberation.

my feedback. Not as good as was expected. The service was efficient, the place was pretty clean but the food was the main disappointment. The ribs & beef were fatty & chewy. They had a slight smoke flavor to them but you really had to tug the meat off the bones. The sides were O.K. It wasn't to busy and the atmosphere was O.K. but not what I had expected. Not worth being rated in the top 3 on citysearch. I'll go back to Woodranch BBQ & Grill in Northridge.

Chewy Ribs & Beef. Baby back ribs should fall right off the bone. These ribs were tough & chewy. Seemed to be undercooked. the sauces were a bit week too. Went there from the site review here & won't go back till they learn how to handle the meats better.
