I atttended St Finbar back in the 50's. Went to the grade school from 3rd grade to 8th. We were taught by the Nuns-some wonderful. I realized how good my education was when I went on to a public hghschool. When I started there was a smaller church on the same side of the street as the school. By the time I left there was a beautiful new church. I sang in the choir, and attended all feasts and Catholic holy days. It was a great way to grow mp.
Pros: easy to find

While I'm not a regular at their services (OK, the fact that I refered to it as being a regular says a lot), I do like this church. I've been to several weddings here, and it seems like the parish is a very friendly and welcoming place. They also host a nice Cinco de Mayo fiesta every year. It's not one of the big parties (no rides), but they do have a handful of game booths, a car raffle and lots of homemade ethnic food. I always seem to run into someone I know there. Oh, and granted I don't know much about this, but they do seem to be kind of stingy when it comes to baptisms so if you have a kid and you're not married, it could be an issue.
