Five Stars to Blue Cross

5 stars to Blue Cross Pet Hospital! They have been our personal vet for over 15 years and the last 7 we have been a kitten rescue and have come to REALLY get to know them. If you want the best in care for your pet, Blue Cross is the place to go. The doctors are highly skilled and care about the animals. They approach a sick patient with gentleness but firm professional skill. The vet techs are better than some vets I've met and the office staff are helpful and courteous. I've watched them handled the sometimes extremely difficult owners with patience and empathy.
The Doctors have helped us save hundreds of sick cats and kittens in the years we've been rescuing; getting into their books for procedures that are not the everyday norm and helping us take care of these rescues when others have given up and told us there was no hope.
They have been compassionate when we had to put down a kitten or cat and have rejoiced with us when those that were at death's door have survived. We know our babes are in the best hands possible at Blue Cross. That is why we take them there and why we recommend them to all who adopt from us.
Thank you, Blue Cross. You are the best.

They abused a child and his puppy - STAY AWAY!

When a 10 year old boy brought in his parvo puppy for treatment, they tried to charge him and his family close to $1000 - they would not even look at the puppy or start treatment without hundreds of dollars up front. When we explained we did not have that much, the cruelty got worse and worse.
The boy went outside with a sign to try and get passersby to donate money to the puppy's cause. When the vets and their staff saw this, they flew into a rage and screamed abuse - insluding foul langauge at the boy and the rest of us.
Wev asked why this was not ok, and they would not tell us. I guess they were upset because the fact that they wont help a needy puppy or a family makes them look bad, and they didn't want the public to know their little secret.
They could not have been ruder, colder, or crueler to the puppy or to us.
They have vets and staff that do not take proper care of the animals behind the scenes. So do not board or leave your animals overnight because God only knows what will happen.
The clinic is often filthy in the back, and they will OVERCHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING! This is NOT necessary because I have now been to MANY wonderful vets who will give you first class care, with great customer service, compassion, and still give you a fair price.
They also dont want to answer questions and get angry quickly.
