The customer service is crap. The rep
told me to "not say anything" while I was trying to explain to her what MY bank statement said! She wasted my cell phone minutes and put me on hold just to come to the conclusion of what I was going to tell her in the first place! This will be the first and last time I order from this place.

I was a first time wig buyer. I purchased a wig online from Wilshire Wigs during a sale period. When the wig arrived it did not come with the promised "Free wig stand" and it was no where near the color pictured on the stores web page. I called and was told I could return it, so I paid shipping for a second time. Upon receiving it, Wilshire wigs told me they were charging me a nearly $30 stocking fee and they would not honor my discount on a replacement wig in a different color. So I then had to pay full price, plus a restocking fee, and shipping again. When the wig arrived, it will not brown as i was told it would be, and again there was no "free wig stand." Buying from Wilshire added hundreds to my original purchase price and I still do not have a wig I would ever wear. I would recommend ordering wig from any OTHER wig compant besides Wilshire Wigs!! I feel ripped off and completely taken advantage of!!
Worst customer service!!. Never order online from Wilshire Wigs. their policies are the worst. Only credit on returns and restocking fees. They sent me the wrong color wig.I asked them to waive the restocking fee because of this. They refused,and argued that this WAS what I ordered. they were so rude! They didn't have what I really wanted in stock so I was stuck with a credit and had to search for something I didn't want to buy! I guess here the customer is always wrong. Zero Stars!

I've shopped from Wilshire wigs for several years but I won't anymore. They don't have enough time to deal with a customer? then they don't need My Money..besides, they're just the middle man.. I can go to the manufacturer myself, I don't need to be treated like My time or Money isn't worth wasting. Never again! and for those who recently have been treated nice and respectful..consider yourself one of the Lucky few.
Wishire Wigs treats customers poorly.
Wilshire Wigs must not need or want customers or customer referrals. Aug. 6th I was shopping for an outfit for a sixties party and needed a wig, a local vintage shop suggested I try Wilshire Wigs, but they warned me that the staff could be a bit rude and unaccommodating. Needing the wig and being close to their establishment I figured I would call and see if they were open. It was 3:45pm, Anita answered the phone and when I asked her what time they were open till she said 4:00pm...when I told her that I was close by and would be right there she said that they were closing and wouldn't be able to help me...huh! I thought you close at 4pm...well, they were starting to get ready to shut down and wouldn't be able to help me...huh again!! So I asked to speak to her manager. The "manager", Serjio, wasn't much help, saying they close at 4 and basically that they would turn any customer away and not process any sale if the clock struck 4. Being a business owner myself I was shocked at the way I was being treated, I asked for the owners name...which I was told is Michael. I raced to Wilshire Wigs...with about 4 min. to spare, I walked in announcing that I was the "bitch" on the phone needing to purchase a 60's wig (a sure sale...cash in hand willing to spend up to $100 bucks for a wig!!!) I asked for Serjo and he just kinda melted and didn't help me, I asked for Anita and was told she was new...and she couldn't help me...another woman (I guess the bravest one) gave me about 25 seconds of her time before completely ignoring me till a very loud and obnoxious intercom announcement came on announcing that, "Wilshire Wigs" is now closed!
I walked out hearing smirks and snickers, I guess because they showed me!!
...Did I mention that when I walked into Wilshire wigs there were 2 customers and SEVERAL employees just "hanging around"..not being of much use...just taking up space =/
If my employees EVER treated one of our customers that way I would be appalled, and out of business!
I went right from there to Halloween Town...which does not have the selection that Wilshire Wigs does...but they actually have a staff that is pleasant and has had far more training in customer service and general etiquette. I spent about $65.00 on the wig and ended up getting some really cute white gogo boots. Wilshire Wigs could of gained a "well connected" retail customer but instead I am here writing a negative review about them...and you really have to treat me pretty shabbily too evoke that.
Worst wig store in LA.. Today I have went into the Wilshire wigs store, only not to be greeted by anyone, no even a simple hello. A store filled with a countless amount of employees, and not a single one can do as much as help or name a single price. It is as if they have hired a worthless scum of street freaks, with no higher than a first grade education. I needed a simple price on a wig, and they kept on trying to ask me for my private info, such as my name and where I live, just for a price check
Great People. These guys will match any price -- have ordered from them for years and have always been satisfied
I have been shopping on the internet for a wig. because I have started Chemotherapy. I found this company to be the most helpful especially when I called and had questions I was acutally able to talk to someone in resonably short time. That is why I selected this company to purchase my wig.
