More than just the customer left in customer service!. This is the BEST Video store!! The movies aren't edited(like Blockbuster's), they carry an impressive selection of foreign,drama,and ALL other noteworthy genres(including Porn is that's what rocks your boat). I can't make a request at the kiosk in the parking lot at 7-11... Nor do they have anything interesting there. The staff has thinned due to the economy, but the heart of the store is still there. Viva Odyessey!!!!!!!! Netflix/Redbox sucks! I want a choice not whatever the Corp. says I should have! I want a human being-Not a recording!!

Not very many stores like this anymore.. When I used to live down the street from it, everytime I would go by myself or with some friends, the sales people are not only nice and friendly, but were very knowledgeable of their merchandise. It was why we felt so comfortable going there. Not many places treat customers like that anymore. They also have the best selection of movies and hard to find pieces too!

Better than Netflix!!!. Every tuesday and thursday, Odyssey has EVERY movie for only 99 cents! Even new releases. How can you beat that? But, the real reason Odyssey is the best is because of their 80's horror collection. They have quite a library of 80's VHS horror movies. They also have many, many television shows on VHS as well. Very rare stuff. Early episodes of SNL and whatnot. The staff is very personable and friendly. I LOVE ODDYSSEY!!!

Very homely. Pleasant, helpful staff that actually takes the time to know regular customers. Great selection of foreign and special interest titles, and the red-light section is unparalleled. Very affordable; I try to stop by on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when rentals are a buck for one night. They'll also clean your DVD's at 3 bucks a pop, which I highly recommend taking advantage of.
