Experience the Venetian country Inn. Possibly the best authentic Italian dining experience in LA. A special treat that we look forward to each year when we visit family at Christmas, Ca'Del Sole never disappoints. The food and drinks are wonderful, the service staff is outstanding and the atmosphere is conducive to thorough enjoyment of the evening.

Great food, great prices, great happy hour. I came here for happy hour with a friend as a reward after a long day of Christmas shopping. What a reward! We had cocktails (I had a Negroni, new cocktail of choice), a bunch of stuff off the $5 happy hour menu (the pork sausage in puttanesca sauce with fried polenta was a favorite), also quartinos of wine for $5. Everything was delicious, the bartender was really nice, and the Christmas decorations were very pretty. I'm actually going back with my parents for Christmas Eve dinner. I heard they have a good Bellini brunch too, so I'll have to try that. I guess I'm going to have to become a regular.

Beautifully designed but poorly executed. I am 100% italian -I was born in Italy, I was raised in Italy - I can assure all of you this is not an italian restaurant - when the wait staff and the chef are not italian you are not getting italian food and you are not getting the italian restaurant experience - it is a shame because it seems whoever is in charge does not even want to try to give it that truly italian flare...yeah, you guessed it...italian waiters, an italian chef...just like any other ethnic restaurant you go to in this town...

mediocre. Easy to get reservation. Old school place that is uneven. I had the seafood soup and it was truly mediocre with the flavor of the broth. Service uneven with 3 requests for ice water before we got a glass..2 of 3 courses pretty good, the rest, no so much..mediocre caesar salad, pretty good sauce on the pasta...wine very pricey...

A terrific restaurant. The food was terrific, reservations were easy, the staff was outstandin! As we had theater reservations, they gave very rapid service. Did I say the food was excellent? Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Rude on the phone - good luck making a reservation. We used to eat here once in a while when they first opened and I was working nearby. The food was good but pricey - more for special occasion lunches. I recently called in the morning to try to make a lunch reservation. They hung up on me twice, then the 3rd time kept me on hold for almost ten minutes. When the hostess finally picked up the phone and I said I wanted to make a reservation, she replied (in an irritated tone of voice), "Y'know what, I'm busy. I'm gonna have to call you back."

Regardless of how good the food is, if a restaurant treats me like a mere annoyance, I tend not to go back. Ca' del Sol is going to have to teach their staff some phone manners before they see any more of my business.

There's a place nearby on Riverside Drive called Prosecco, where the food is just as good and the staff are really wonderful. I highly recommend them as a more pleasant alternative.

The best Italian cuisine ever.... I learnt my lessons...

Over the past few years... I swayed from one Italian restaurant to another, but none can surpass Ca del Sole...

It's almost unimaginable Ca' del Sole has everything that you can ask for from a good fine restaurant: great food (Nobody can beat their chicken lasagna and spaghetti vongole), great value (good portion with price not over the roof), great customer service (excellent waiters... I love you guys... they even split the dish for you - knowing I only dine with one person), great ambience (nice interiors - great for business meeting, great for romantic dining), great place to spend for family (yes, you can bring your family to have a really nice dinner)...

Overall, out of any other Italian restaurant... This place is the best...

I would never go to any other fine dining Italian restaurant anymore, except Ca' del Sole...

Yeah... because they're that good!!!

Everything about this place is impeccable. Most important in our experience-we were absolutely blown away by the service. One of our party had just gotten out of the hospital and it was obvious she was struggling when walking. The manager insisted to move us to the largest booth in the restaurant (there were only 4 of us) in front of the fireplace. He would check on us throughout the meal, our server was also excellent and very attentive. The food-impressive presentation and DELICIOUS! The atmosphere-beautiful and very attentive to detail.

This is our new favorite restaurant.

Comfort food, and friendly service :-). We frequent this restaurant and love it! Friendly staff and very family friendly. You definately need to try the chicken lasagna, pumpkin ravioli (although very rich), and the lobster ravioli. Those are my families fav's, but I can't recall having a bad meal there. Good food in the valley!

it's pasta. that's for sure.. I got stuff togo here for my office at work. They were very nice and the pasta was as good as pasta usually is. They kinda sorta messed up the order, but were very accomidating in fixing it quickly and crediting back my card.
