good place, obvious band, polite service, good drinks, nice spot live music, fresh o order, excellent salads
This place is rad! A small neighborhood hangout for locals and tourists, good prices, pool table and live music. Near Universal City. Small bar area that gets busy but the bartenders rock, has outdoor seating and a couple other nooks for hanging out with small groups too. Seen some good music here, check the calendar though, genres vary. Caught some great regular bands there last month; Max Mueller, The Arroyo and Last American Cowboy all made for a great night. Original Rock and Roll and Indie music that kept me there all night. Cool place, patio closes early though. Check it out!
Not bad but could be better.
The area needs a cool local bar but this aint it.
The inside is sort of cheesy. The night I went there was a DJ playing good 80's music, prefer that over some loud band. But the DJ was a bit too loud too.
They had no cover charge but I don't think I'd go in if there was a cover...
OK Venue. This isn't a bad place to hang out, but it could be a lot better. For one thing, they play the music way too loud. I have nothing against loud music, but when the band isn't that good and it's obvious no one really cares what they're doing, then take it down a few notches. Otherwise, you're going to drive people away. Also, they really should utilize their patio more. It's just sort of mindlessly stuck over to the side when it really ought to be emphasized, especially in the summer. Parking could be better, and they should lower their cover charges--they'd get more industry types who work near by.
nice place. this is a good place. live music, pool table, good drinks. a few times i checked out a band jims fault over here and the bar and grill is a nice spot live music.
