Alyssa S. is a terrific stylist.. I visit this salon because Alyssa S. now works there. I have followed her to several salons because she always gives me a great cut. I have short hair and it is hard to hide mistakes, so I have learned my lesson and even though this salon is a good hour from where I live, I trek out there every few months so Alyssa can style my hair.

Great salon, ALMOST all around!. So I love my stylist, Alyssa. She is amazing with both color and cuts, and she works around my schedule, which is awesome.

Seriously, though, I just have to say something. Who are we kidding about the receptionist?! He's NOT friendly in any shape or form. A receptionist is the first person you see when you walk in the door or the person you talk to when you call, and luckily I've established my relationship with Alyssa and therefore the salon, or else I would wonder if my business was really wanted. I'm sure he's a great person and all, but as a receptionist, not so much. That's really my only complaint about the salon.

Note to receptionist: Don't hang up on people when they call, smile, and act like you happy to see clients when they walk in the door.

The Best for A Long Time. I have had the pleasure of having Tamara cut my hair for a very long time to many years to count. Tamara and her staff have always been professional but fun. I have sent friends to would say the same thing. Best I have found.

Love it!. I have been a client of Tammy's for many years. She always does such a great job and I'm always happy with what she does with my hair. The salon has such a great atmosphere and is so charming! When I'm there, I'm always in a good mood! As for the negative review below - it's frankly hard to believe. Everyone, from the receptionist to the stylists play a huge role in the aura and uniqueness of the salon. If you're in a bad mood and can't get over it there, then you probably won't be able to anywhere. I think that accents are hot and that the receptionist speaks very good English. Can?t wait to go back!

Best Receptionist, Best Salon. I have been going to Tamara Dahill Salon for over ten years. I love the way Tamara colors and cuts my hair. I always leave the salon feeling prettier as well as a happier person because of the kindness of Tamara as well as her staff. I have seen employees at the salon come and go through the years. I usually have mixed emotions when an employee leaves the salon because I know I will miss them, but at the same time I am happy and excited for their decision to make a change in their lives, move on to new opportunities, move to a new city, etc. Change is good and we are always in a state of flux whether we know it or not. Ok, enough philosophy from me. The main reason for my review is to herald an amazing sort-of-new addition to Tamara's staff. He is the receptionist and his name is Ingus (hope I spelled his name correctly). This particular receptionist is like a breath of fresh air. He as a great sense of humor, he works hard, he is kind and thoughtful as well as very good looking! The salon operates like clock work when he is around, and I always look forward to having him great me as I arrive for my salon appointment. THANKS TAMARA FOR A STELLAR HIRE!

great cuts!. I have been a client of laura's for a short time. she is amazing and has given me one of the best hair cuts. I will recommend her to my friends, Thank you Laura!

The salon had a good vibe everyone was friendly.

p.s. - I have never had any problems with the male receptionist and he has always been friendly to me

Rudest receptionist. I have been going to Tamara dayhill for awhile now and have recently had to reconsider. I love my hairstylist but it is extremely hard to make appointments. The male receptionist is so quick with you every time you call. He has never been helpful with me making appointments with Tammy. He is so rude not to mention that you can not understand anything he is saying. The first couple of times that I realized he was rude I had told my stylist but he had remained the same. On my last visit When I called to make my appointment, His response was "she is not working today, She will only squeeze you in if she wants to. You need to speak with her" All spoken in broken english. In my wait to respond the phone was hung up. After I called again a few days later and got the girl receptionist I was able to book an appointment. After I came in and after my hair was done, I had to go to him to pay. When I handed him my card he rudely said "How much are you going to tip?" after I told him how much he rolled his eyes and said "only 20" I was so upset!! I will never set foot in that salon again!! He is an awful person to have to deal with your customers. Message to Salon owner: Expect to indirectly lose many more people from the way he deals with your customers. He is a horrible representative of such a classy salon!

Highlights by Maggie Rule!. I have been going to Tamara Dahill salon for almost 5 years. My hairstylist moved to another location from Tamara Dahill and it was too far for me. After making a mistake to move to another salon near me in Burbank (La Bella Studio) where my hair was ruined after my 2nd visit, I thought I would never find a good hairstylist to do my hair right. I came back to Tamara?s salon and was booked with Maggie. What an amazing job she has done with my hair! First time she was able to fix the previous job and now every time I come to her, my hair looks better and better. The highlights she is doing are amazing. She doesn?t overlap, she has right color and she makes them tiny.

Her haircut gives my hair fullness and it?s so easy to style it at home in between visits. If you want perfect highlights and haircut ? go to Maggie, you will be happy.

A great hair stylist. I have been going to Tamara Dahill Salon for almost 7 years now. I have never completely trusted anyone to do my hair until I met Nikki Brown years ago. I don't even have to say what I want, I trust her with my hair implicitly. She knows exactly what she is doing and it shows, true talent finally! Not to mention a great and friendly person to converse with, always very optimistic. I don't have to pretend to be all involved in my magazine to avoid conversation when Im getting my hair done, like I had to with every past salon. She's a very talented, professional young woman.. Im so thankful to have met her! Thanks Nikki ..You're the best!!

Top on American Board of Certified Hair Colorist. For such a long time, I was searching for a decent hair colorist, then I found Tamara Dahill Salon through the American Board of Certified Hair Colorist. They are one of the very few salons that are certified in the Los Angeles area. Thanks to Nikki Brown, I have had amazing hair for the past two years.
