In Short – Inside the spacious, minimalist room, shiny black tables and faux-snakeskin booths sit beside unembellished, mustard-colored walls. A single sheet of white paper garnishes each table: This is the menu. Three dishes are served with the same incendiary, oil-based sauce: Shrimp with bread, Shrimp with rice and Shrimp with pasta. No appetizers, no extra sauce on the side, no butter, no Parmesan cheese: It's all about the sauce. – –

Just dined there last night, and learned that after 20 years the best shrimp place in the area will be closing. I can recall many late night drives to Killer Shrimp for the shrimp and pasta! Get there before the last day and have a bowl of the shrimp and pasta! The chocolate cake is also excellent.
Bye, Killer Shrimp - you will be missed!!
- Pros: Near the beach
- Cons: Parking can be a challenge

I love this place. I have been a customer since 1990. I have visited all locations and everything is consistant. The food and the service is great. Too bad this location is closed, but the Marina Del Rey branch (The original location) is still around. Happy shrimping.
- Pros: Everything

Today, my date and I just attempted to go on an afternoon date here at Killer Shrimp. He hadn't been to this location within a year... He has been to the other location in West Los Angeles within the last 6 months! But he assured me that both locations have killer food! Unfortunately, he arrived there (traffic was horrible today, so he beat me), the sign was down and the placed was closed. :( Too bad, I heard good things about this restaurant.... I guess I will have to go to West LA for some Killer Shrimp.
