In Short – This casual SoCal burger joint inhabits a bright yellow Amtrak passenger car from the 1920s, and its white- and red-paneled walls sport old framed black-and-whites documenting its disco-era construction, plus historic photos of the area. Tee-shirted tourists and local die-hards order at the counter and grab napkins from a bathroom towel dispenser at the end of the line. Burgers and hotdogs are served in cardboard boxes, often drenched in chili and accompanied by lemonade in a paper cup.
Used to love it, now won't go.

Used to be a great place for burgers. Hot dogs are still okay but the last few times there the hamburger meat was paper thin and tasteless. Double cheeseburger came with one slice of cheese, I ask for another slice and they charged fifty cents more with a bad attitude to boot. The man that owned/managed(?) from a few years ago is not there. He built up a good business with good food and service. They must have sold the franchise and the new owners have gone on the cheap. I miss the place but will go elsewhere for a good hamburger.

Searching for a "real" Chicago Style Hot Dog
by TdogKing at Citysearch
I went looking for a " real " Chicago Dog and what I found was a standard relish dog called a " Chciagoan ", I also tried the Carneys which is a chili dog. The hot dogs were good as regular hot dogs could be, so my search is still on .
