Awesome Studio City breakfast spot; pancakes may look like potato latkes, but they have just the right combo of fluff and crisp.

nice breakfast spot. super crowded on weekends, there is always a wait at this popular breakfast spot. i think it's worth it. i'm not saying it's the best breakfast ever, but it's probably the best option in the area. outdoor seating.

Let's get some Freeench toast!. Jumpin Java is my favorite place to go for breakfast and lunch. The french toast is out of this world, especially if you get it with sauteed bananas. Also, their chopped chicken salad is the best and most delicious salad I have found in the valley. There's always a wait on saturday and sunday mornings, because it's really small, but the wait staff is really nice. Also deeeelicious: The turkey and brie sandwich, the turkey burger (i dont know HOW they make is so fabulous, but i've dreamt about this burger...) and the garlic chicken a la press sandwich. They claim the french fries are baked, but they taste exactly like McDonalds french fries. Which I love. I love Jumpin Java.

poor customer service. My boyfriend and I have been regulars at Jumpin Java for years. We knew this place before it became hip. At least three times a week we would follow our crave for their yummie blueberry and banana pancakes. From one day to the next the owner decided that putting real fruit into the batter would be a waste of expansive ingridients, and not only did he instruct his wait staff to refuse any requests for fruit additions but had the kitchen staff replace the blueberries with some non-descript dried blueberry flavored junk. While they are at it they should change the menu too: Blueberry FLAVORED Pancakes. Mmmh. Can't wait to hear when they switch to tuna flavored sandwiches.

Just okay. But too long a wait.. The food is nothing to talk about. After all, it's a breakfast. However, the wait is another story. I cannot believe that my friend made us wait for 45 minutes just to have a regular breakfast. And we ended up dining at the front patio where other people were waiting for the table. It was not a comfortable experience.

Best pancakes if you've got the time.. Okay, so here's the deal on this place. The wait is soooo long to get a table. It's always packed. And once you do sit, it takes quite a while to get your food (once, the waitress even forgot to turn in our order and we waited almost an hour). Wait wait wait...but...the breakfast, especially the pancakes (I love the almond oat) are so worth the wait!! I'm not even a pancake person but their pancakes really are delicious! Oh and the omelets, breakfast potatoes, and hot chocolate are all tasty too. I'm pretty sure breakfast is served all day so if you do go later in the day, forget about their lunches and dinners...they are nothing to rave about...and indulge yourself with something off of the breakfast menu.

GREAT FOOD!!!. I love this little brunch spot. It is so good, there is always a wait to get a table at least if you go on a Sunday. Sometimes, I would go by myself and just sit at their little 3 person bar and have my food. I always recommend this spot to people and look forward to going. The people there are nice. It's cool to just go and kick back. However, I do wish customers would stop bringing their pets even if you are sitting outside. It still is a restaurant and everyone does not want to be surrounded by other people's dogs. So, I do with the restaurant would make that a policy. Other than that, it's great!

good breakfasts, long wait. waiting is really the key word here. expect to wait for a table (especially on weekends) and then expect to wait for your food. sometimes it's just too long altogethor and we don't bother, but when the wait for a table isn't too long, it's a cute little cafe to have breakfast at. the best thing here is the baby shrimp crepes with the salsa...absolutely delicious. they recently put in air conditioning, so now summers won't be unbearable hot. cofee here's not bad, too.

Best Blueberry Pancakes!. Jumpin' Java's blueberry pancakes are the best! I get them with whipped cream instead of syrup. The OJ is really good too! To top it off, the staff is very friendly!

The worst restaurant experience in years.. Jumpin Java is in need of some serious revamping of their service staff. The food is okay, but it does not make up for the poor service. We waited 15 minutes to order while the manager called an impromptu staff meeting where he yelled loud enough for all the customers to hear. Finally after we ordered the food took another 35-45 minutes, and in that time our water glasses were not even looked at much less refilled. Finally when we did receive our order, one item was wrong. They took away the plate with a burger, salad, and a side of bacon. Fifteen minutes later when they brought out the corrected burger, it was just that- a burger on a plate- no salad, no bacon. When we complained the manager argued with us and was very unpleasant. All in all the worst restaurant experience in years.
